Special B&B Offer, Dec.28 to Jan. 6; three night minimum.

Our tenant has authorized me to offer the apartment as a B&B rental during her absence.

This is a fully furnished studio apartment on Algonquin Island, part of the Toronto Islands. The cost is $230/night or $1350 for 7 nights plus 13% HST. There is a 3 night mininum.

Breakfast foods are included which you can prepare at your convenience in the full function kitchen. Bring your favourite food for other meals.

Cable TV, high speed internet, heat and electricity are included, along with use of laundry facilities, yard, BBQ and a canoe. Loft bedroom with ensuite powder room. Four piece bathroom on the ground floor. Private porch and entrance.

We cycle all year round; many of our neighbours enjoy brisk walks and jogging. The distance to Hanlan's Point and back is 10 K.

There may be conditions in the winter for cross-country skiing and playing shinny or long distance skating on wild ice. Sometimes eagles visit during winter.

There are no private cars on the island. Parking is available on the mainland, either municipal permit parking or in the private lots near the ferry dock.

Island living has some challenges but offers a calm alternative in the heart of the city.
